    For almost 60 years Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Benedicta School has provided excellence in academics rooted in the Catholic Faith. Located on the North Shore of Staten Island, OLMCSB is open to all students, but it is particularly convenient to the neighborhoods of Port Richmond, Westerlegh, New Springville, Mariners Harbor, West Brighton, and Grasmere.  

    OLMCSB offers a diverse educational experience for students of all ethnic and economic backgrounds, an education that prepares and sustains students in the real world. At Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Benedicta, students are taught in a safe, nurturing, family-centered environment which constantly challenges them to BE BETTER, GROW STRONGER, AND REACH HIGHER.

    • Sale of Christmas items, novelty toys, decorations, ornaments and other small gifts. Prices range from 50¢ - $25 Parents are welcome to attend! Sale will take place in the school gym.
    • In 1910 Our Lady of Guadalupe was declared the patroness of Latin America and in 1956 she was declared the patroness and empress of the whole Church in the Americas, from Canada to Argentina. For our school and parish community, this day, it is by far one of the most important feast days of the year. Our school will celebrate and honor the Virgin Mary on this feast day with a parade procession around the school to the church followed by a mass. Parents are encouraged to participate. 8:20 am – procession begins weather permitting 8:50 am – Brief play led by 6th grade 9:00 am – Mass in Honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe 10:00 am – Hot Chocolate and Pan Dulce in school gym
    • Please join us as we prepare to celebrate the Christmas season with our annual Christmas Concert & Posada. Our audience is welcome to sing along with our students to the beat of Christmas songs. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Light refreshments to follow after the concert. The suggested donation is $10 per family to help cover costs.
