Located on the North Shore of Staten Island, OLMCSB is open to all students, but it is particularly convenient to the neighborhoods of Port Richmond, Westerlegh, New Springville, Mariners Harbor, West Brighton, and Grasmere.  OLMCSB offers a diverse educational experience for students of all ethnic and economic backgrounds, an education that prepares and will sustain your child in the real world. School Portraits

Individual and class pictures will be taken on Wednesday, October 25th. All students must wear Full Uniform for the FAll portraits. If you would like to purchase individual portraits for your child, please return the completed envelope from LifeTouch and include the total payment (including tax).

Chocolate Sale Fundraiser

The Sale ends on October 20th! Please submit all payments to the office by the end of this week. 

 

October Events

October 27th 6:30 pm - Trunk-or-treat - Join us for a fun evening of candy, trunk-or-treating, snacks, haunterd hallway and more! Tickets $8 per person (younger children may enter with an adult with the purchase of one ticket) Organized by the Home School Association and the 8th Grade class. Tickets will not be sold at the door! Last day to buy tickets is October 23rd. Send your payment in an envelope labeled Trun-or-Treat. Outside friends and family are welcome! 

Volunteers are needed for this event to donate trunks, candy and to help set up and clean up. Please sign up by contacting the HSA through REMIND or in the office.

 

Octboer 31st - Monster Mash! All students will have the opportunity to participate in this fun event during school hours. Dance, dress-down, snacks and monster mash! Cost $5 for K - 7th grade students, includes dress-down (purple, orange, black) snack and juice and entrance to monster mash. Pre-k students enter free. Additional snacks and tickets for gift basket will be on sale! This event is organized by the 8th grade to collect funds for their graduation trip. Send your payment in an envelope to Mrs. Vaccaro 8th grade Monster Mash.

Blended Learning Initiative

Blended Learning

As you may have read in Catholic New York, our school has been selected as one of the Blended Learning Pilot schools for the Archdiocese of New York.  Not only do we have at least 15 Chromebooks in each classroom, our teachers will be trained in using this technology in a way that will allow us make sure that every student is learning at the level that they need.  To find out more about Blended Learning, visit this link:  What is Blended Learning?
